Network Security Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help secure a complex and global network infrastructure.

You'll work with cutting-edge technologies – Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, DDoS protection, and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Azure Pipelines – while turning business needs into secure, scalable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Work with next-generation firewalls, DDoS protection tools, load balancing appliances, reverse proxies, NAC/AAA, web and VPN gateways.
• Employ cutting-edge solutions from vendors such as F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco.
• Develop, maintain, protect and troubleshoot a complex network infrastructure.
• Apply cloud architecture principles in designing and developing functional areas of a cloud, including automation, infrastructure, consumption platform, security.
• Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Azure Pipelines, Terraform alongside Python, LUA, Bash.
• Keep an eye on the infrastructure with monitoring and alerting platforms such Zabbix, Grafana.
• Perform periodic administrative tasks, including software upgrades, lifecycle management and maintain regulatory controls.
• Proactively review the environment and take initiatives to reduce failures, defects and improve performance.
• Perform system checks based on monitoring events and correct any issues.
• Analyze the performance, do proactive troubleshooting, continuous improvement and capacity planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate resolution of the incidents on the administrated systems.
• Investigate problems in the production environment.
• Document tasks and changes, perform impact analysis to prevent any downtime.
• Maintain security and data integrity for infrastructure applications.

What you need to be successful

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position working with a large infrastructure.
• Experience with (some of) the following technologies: DDoS mitigation appliances, Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), F5/NGiNX, WAF, NAC solutions, proxies.
• Knowledge of scripting / automation (Python, Bash, LUA, PowerShell) and orchestration platforms (Ansible, Azure Pipeline Automation, Terraform) is a must.
• Good understanding of Windows / Linux operating systems with CLI.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CySA are a plus.
