Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in Maastricht. In this role, you will support the development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software for innovative electronic products. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or junior engineers to grow their skills within a collaborative and high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and debugging of embedded software for microcontroller-based systems
- Contribute to firmware and driver development using C/C++
- Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of embedded software
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure reliable system performance
- Support continuous improvement and troubleshooting of existing products
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architectures
- Experience with C/C++ programming (academic or internship-based)
- Familiarity with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a technical team
- Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
