Data Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Data Projects: Create and scale data initiatives from scratch, ensuring that they evolve with the business's needs.
- Lead a Talented Team: Manage and mentor a small group of skilled data professionals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with key stakeholders across the company to define, build, and implement data strategies to support the company as it scales. You’ll be instrumental in aligning business goals with data needs from the ground up.
- Innovate: Lead with creative problem-solving, developing new tools, processes, and systems to drive data-driven decision-making in an evolving environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data management roles, ideally with experience in a startup or high-growth environment where building processes from scratch is key.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in Latvian and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerBI) and experience with big data technologies.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams in rapidly evolving environments, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Coaching: Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, helping them grow.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a builder’s mindset.
