Infrastructure Engineer

We’re now looking for an experienced engineer to join a datacenter and infrastructure team!

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of infrastructure operations, system administration, and cloud transformation. If you're passionate about solving complex problems, modernizing legacy systems, and ensuring reliability at scale, this role is for you.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining our critical infrastructure while contributing to long-term architectural decisions and service improvements. We want individuals who challenge the status quo, bring fresh perspectives, and are comfortable navigating both legacy and cutting-edge technologies

What You'll Work On

Our environment is diverse, and we support a wide array of technologies. Depending on your strengths and interests, you could find yourself working across any of the following areas:

• Virtualization & Compute Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our VMware stack (vSphere, ESXi, Horizon), ensuring reliable performance and scalability.
• Database Administration: Maintain and tune databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL for performance, integrity, and security.
• Monitoring & Observability: Leverage tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus to monitor system health, investigate incidents, and drive proactive improvements.
• Linux Systems Management: Administer and harden Linux systems across environments; develop scripts and automation for deployment and configuration.
• Data Flow & Integration Pipelines: Support data movement tools like Apache NiFi and traditional FTP/SFTP/FTPS systems.
• Backup & Storage Systems: Maintain and evolve our backup strategies using Commvault and NetApp technologies.
• Hybrid Cloud Transformation: Help architect and implement our journey toward a hybrid cloud environment, integrating new services with existing platforms.

It is beneficial if you can also bring:

• Azure and/or AWS experience
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration from large environments
