Position: Infrastructure Security Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Qualification and Skills
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT security, with a strong focus on infrastructure security.
• Proven experience developing and implementing system hardening techniques and standards across various platforms.
• Strong experience securing and administering server operating systems (Windows Server environments, standard Linux distributions).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, switching) and network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with security technologies such as vulnerability management tools, endpoint security solutions, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with common security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
Added Advantage
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, GCWN, GCUX, CISSP, CEH).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security principles.
