Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – Locals Only)

Pay Rate (1099/C2C): Starting at $42/hour

Please Note:- Local candidates only. This is a hybrid role based in Sunnyvale, CA (onsite presence required).

- Prior experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce environments is strongly preferred.
- Compensation may vary depending on experience and technical alignment.
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join a high-performing mobile engineering team. You’ll help build scalable, user-friendly Android applications that serve millions of users while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:- 6+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin/Java
- Proficiency in Jetpack components, RecyclerView, and Material Design principles
- Experience with REST APIs, Retrofit/Volley, and JSON parsing
- Handle UI state, network failure scenarios, and device orientation changes
- Optimize for performance, memory usage, and UI responsiveness
- Write comprehensive unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso)
- Experience with Git, Dagger/Hilt, and dependency injection best practices
- Comfortable working in Agile teams with designers, product managers, and engineers
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose
- Familiarity with Mockito and other UI testing frameworks
- Background in large-scale consumer mobile applications

- Estimated Annual Base: ~$87,360/year
- Minus estimated health insurance (~$600/month): ~$80,160/year net (approximate)
