Project Description

Our client is a forward-thinking technology company focused on delivering innovative solutions in the security and AI space. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior C++ Engineer to help maintain and optimize critical software systems running on Linux platforms.

As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the client’s core software systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the codebase is efficient, reliable, and scalable, while also contributing to defect resolution and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing C++ codebase with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and hardware engineers
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
• Support build automation and CI/CD pipelines
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ development
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17)
• Solid experience working in Linux environments
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools (e.g., gdb, valgrind, perf)
• Experience with multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems or hardware-software integration
• Familiarity with CMake, Git, and Jenkins
• Understanding of networking protocols and inter-process communication
• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or sensor data processing is a plus
