Middle Technical Artist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge online casino websites. As a Technical Artist, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between art and engineering, ensuring that our visual and technical goals align seamlessly. You will work closely with designers, developers, and artists to implement high-quality, optimized visuals for web-based platforms. Your role will involve enhancing the asset creation pipeline, optimizing performance, and integrating animations and effects that elevate the player experience.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in gamedev as a technical artist
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Graphics Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing 2D assets for performance across browsers and platforms.
• Familiarity with online casino games or slot game mechanics.
• Art/Anim Tools: Experience with tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Spine or similar.
• English: Intermediate level of spoken English.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments using tools like Jira.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for technical challenges related to art implementation.
• Soft Skills: Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.

Nice to have: * Experience with game engines (e.g. Unity, Phaser, Cocos2d, custom engines). * Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization tools.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with designers, developers, animators and artists to deliver visually stunning, production-ready online casino games.
• Optimize game scenes, graphic assets, atlases, batches, draw calls.
• Integrate animations, effects, static assets, fonts into custom engine.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the art integration process.
• Provide feedback and guidance to art/animation and engineering teams to enhance workflows.
• Collaborate with the team to fine-tune the overall art direction and styling for the project.
• Implement game scenes according to design, adapt to different screen resolutions.
