We work flexibly with 3 days a week remote and 2 days working together in our CBD office.Role mission

To design useful and usable user interfaces across the supply chain, logistics, and transportation industries. To make complex systems appear simple and elegant while being intuitive, efficient and appealing.

Design the right thing, then the thing right.

• ‘Own’ your designs through to production and beyond.
• Know who your users are and what problems you’re solving - champion their experience.
• Be detail-focused - uphold quality by ensuring solutions are implemented as intended.
• Test, measure and iterate.
  
  

Know when to invite people in and when to batten down the hatches.

• Work autonomously in the problem space to make sense of it and design a way forward.
• Work collaboratively with the design team, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Have a pragmatic approach with solutions: open to making compromises to get a working solution in place, but tenacious in getting the ideal solution delivered eventually.
• Seek out critique and feedback to push forward the quality of product.
  
  

Requirements

Motivation, curiosity, insight, engagement, determination.

• You have exceptional user interface design skills including interaction design, prototyping and visual communication.
• You have solid user experience skills, including experience with user testing.
• You are systematic in your approach to UI design. You champion efficiency and consistency through the use of styles, patterns and reusable components to ensure quality is maintained throughout.
• Your familiarity with web technologies promotes effective communication and collaboration with product and engineering to design fit for purpose solutions.
• You have mastered the design tools necessary to get the job done.
• You are a great communicator and can effectively articulate your design rationale to others to gain buy-in around your ideas.
• You seek out feedback and are respectful when you critique others.
• You are looking for a full time job and are wanting to build strong and meaningful connections with your team, your customers as you build our product.
• Prior experience in the logistics industry is welcome but not essential.
