The Project Manager role is temporary for 12 months with possible extension and will work within the Transformation Program Office supporting the delivery of significant and complex projects. The Transformation Program Office is responsible for leading the implementation of the department’s service delivery model.


You will be a key point of coordination across the Transformation Program Office, supporting the Senior Program Director to keep all projects on track, maintain momentum, and ensure high-quality outcomes for DPI and industry.


You will have proven experience coordinating the delivery of a large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary programs and associated projects across a geographically dispersed workforce ensuring that program outcomes are achieved.


As our Program Manager, Transformation Program Office, you will:

  • Support the successful coordination and delivery of a significant program and its associated projects, ensuring alignment to program outcomes and that solutions are sustainable across the enterprise.
  • Provide timely updates, insights, and recommendations to the Senior Program Director on program progress, risks, and challenges to support the achievement of program milestones.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers, the Corporate Services team, and other program employees to monitor progress, ensure alignment, and help resolve delivery issues to keep projects on track.
  • Undertake effective consultation and stakeholder engagement to support the delivery of key projects, including participating in strategic discussions.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project and program deliverables meet expectations and support long-term outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of projects within the program, tracking progress against plans, identifying risk, and supporting quality assurance and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Prepare accurate briefs, reports, presentations, and communication materials to inform senior leaders and stakeholders, including input into broader program-level communications.
  • Represent the program team in a variety of forums.


You may also have

  • Relevant tertiary and/or project management qualifications will be highly regarded and proven experience of project management.
