Senior Analyst, Business Analytics and Insights

At Jetstar, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Analyst, Business Analytics and Insights, to develop a Forecasting and Analysis Power BI dashboard to enhance commercial management of Ancillary Revenue. This position requires a combination of advanced Power BI skills and strong commercial acumen. The candidate must be capable of comprehending complex business drivers and converting information into effective visualisations. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Data teams to delivery accurate and sustainable reporting tools.

The purpose of this role is to build a serious of dashboards to be used in analysis and forecasting that considers the various needs of the stakeholders and is supported by reconciliation to core metrics and business systems.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Design and build a robust dashboard and analytics tool for revenue forecasting and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to:
• > Define and refine business requirements.
• > Shape content and user experience (UX).
• > Develop clear and insightful performance visualisations.
• > Test and reconcile outputs with systems like TM1 and New Skies.
• Build sustainable data connections and implement the solution in Power BI.
• Document processes and artefacts to support future dashboard development.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Proficiency in SQL with experience working on cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake.
• Experience in using Microsoft Power BI for dashboard development (including embedded reports and custom visuals) and analytics delivery.
• Experience with UX design and stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with testing, data set management, and data quality practices
• Experience in Business requirements documentation and data testing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex data
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance is an asset
• A degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
