Fullstack Software Engineer (Typescript) in B2B Fintech SaaS Startup

We’re building a platform for fintechs, banks, and tax advisors to easily launch tax tools. Backed by top investors, we’re hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer (Typescript) to help build our core systems.

The Opportunity

You’ll shape the platform’s architecture, influence key product decisions, and build the backbone of a tax infrastructure used by financial institutions across Europe.

You'll build a platform that enabling fintechs to offer and create their own tax tools - by smart integration with us.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance architecture for distributed and high-load backend systems.


• Make key architectural decisions and drive technical strategy to ensure robustness, reliability, and maintainability under load.


• Take ownership of designing and implementing core backend systems from scratch - shaping the foundation of our emerging platform.


• Work closely with the CTO to bring the product roadmap to life, turning vision into scalable and maintainable architecture.


• Ship new features at high velocity without compromising code quality, reliability, or performance.


• Play a key role in fostering a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture as we scale the team.

Experience We’re Looking For

Strong technical background with 7+ years of full-time engineering experience, preferably across the following tech stack:

• 🚀 Backend Development: Typescript (Nest.js) and (Java/Kotlin is a huge plus) - solid experience and designing scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Strong knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, WebSockets).


• 🏦 Database Management: Expertise in PostgreSQL, schema design, query optimization, and ORMs like Prisma.


• 🌥️ Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Functions), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.

• 🚀 Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Go, Kotlin or Python


• 🎛️ Good understanding or experience with microservice architecture, as well as experience with high-loaded systems


• 💸 Experience in fintech projects or startups.


• 💰 Experience in building products in regulated industries like payroll, fintech, or tax or had projects where you build a tax solution


• 📩 Experience in building SDK/white-label software products


• 🤍 Big plus: Knowledge in React, Next.js or other frontend technologies. Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand), modern styling (TailwindCSS, Styled Components) and other major Frontend technologies
