Business Continuity and Cyber Risk Lead

Our client is searching for a Business Continuity and IT Risk Lead to join their team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the resilience of their European business operations. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team focused on operational resilience, digital operational resilience, and business continuity management. Responsibilities include:

1. Lead the identification and mapping of Important Business Services (IBS) in accordance with UK and EU regulatory frameworks.
2. Develop and maintain impact tolerance thresholds and implement testing strategies to validate resilience capabilities.
3. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to assess vulnerabilities and ensure recovery capabilities for critical systems.
4. Maintain and enhance business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with operational resilience objectives.
5. Act as a subject matter expert on operational resilience, providing guidance and training across the business.

Requirements include:

1. Experience in operational resilience, cyber risk, or IT risk management within financial services, preferably in asset management.
2. Strong knowledge of European and UK regulatory frameworks such as DORA, FCA/PRA, and ESMA.
3. Familiarity with asset management operations, including the trade lifecycle and third-party service dependencies.
4. Experience with GRC tools, resilience testing platforms, and incident management systems.
5. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Auditor, and CISM.
