Senior Compliance Officer – Crypto & Fintech (Luxembourg)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join a dynamic team within a regulated fintech based in Luxembourg, a leader in the cryptocurrency sector and an innovator in the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Compliance in developing, updating, and maintaining compliance policies (AML, GDPR, MiCA, DORA).
• Ensure compliance monitoring and controls related to financial crime prevention, sanctions, and consumer protection.
• Lead compliance monitoring plans, audits, regulatory reporting, and interactions with Luxembourg authorities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, risk, operations) and international partners.
• Participate in innovative projects within an advanced technological environment related to blockchain and crypto-assets.

Profile:

• 5 to 7 years of compliance experience in a regulated financial institution (bank, EMI, PI, fintech) in Luxembourg or Europe.
• Strong expertise in AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and European regulations (notably MiCA).
• Experience in designing and implementing compliance monitoring plans and regulatory reporting.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) and professional compliance certifications (ACAMS, ICA, ACFCS) are appreciated.
• Curious, multitasker, passionate about technology, autonomous, and proactive.

Conditions & Process:

• Permanent contract (CDI), competitive salary between €80,000 and €100,000 depending on profile.
• Flexible remote work.
• Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm.
• Multi-step recruitment process (phone screening with HR, interviews with Head of Compliance, General Counsel, and CEO in Japan).
• Immediate start desired to join a growing team of 2 junior compliance officers and the Head of Compliance.
