Akindra Talents (member of the Belgian Brainbridge Group) is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible (IT) Staffing solutions and support to global customers. At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania, Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

We are currently looking for an experienced ASP.NET developer to support the ongoing development and maintenance of a long-running customer portal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ASP.NET 4.8 and a deep understanding of Web Forms, as this is a key requirement for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a customer-facing portal built on ASP.NET 4.8 and Web Forms.
• Work alongside other developers and stakeholders to implement new features and enhancements.
• Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented code that meets functional and performance requirements.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and offer insights to support the evolution of legacy systems.
• Collaborate in a remote environment while ensuring availability and clear communication.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with ASP.NET 4.8, with a strong emphasis on legacy system handling.
• Deep expertise in Web Forms is essential and will be assessed during the interview process.
• Solid background in C# development with attention to performance, structure, and maintainability.
• Ability to work independently in a full-time remote setup while aligning with the team’s development workflow.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
