Responsibilities:

• Design and development of an engineering platform for the development, parameterization and configuration of HVDC/FACTS projects (High Voltage Direct Current / Flexible AC Transmission Systems)
• Participation in the design of the software architecture, continuous improvement of code quality and removal of technical debt. Contributes to code reviews, adhering to coding standards and best practices for maintainable and reliable code.
• Design, development and adaptation of internal tools for a heterogeneous SW environment
• Supporting and training an engineering team in using the newly developed tools
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• Vast / Strong experience in the application development with C++ and the Qt Framework (Widget and QML)
• Good knowledge in other programming and script languages like Golang, Javascript, Phyton, ShellScripting
• Bachelors in Computer Science or Business Informatics
• Operating systems: Linux / Ubuntu
• Databases: MySql, PostgreSQL
• Good experience with make Tools.
• Proficient in using GIT for collaborative software development.
• Knowledge of design and implementation of APIs and REST interfaces
• Experience in model-driven software development, model-based testing and test automation
• Confident handling of design drafts, OOA/OOD, design patterns, documentation with UML
• Methodological knowledge of SW development processes (Lean / Agile SW development).
• Experience within an agile team.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, learning ability and results orientation.
