AI Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Scientist to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in applied AI, particularly with large language models (LLMs), and excels in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced conversational AI systems. This role blends cutting-edge research with hands-on production implementation, ensuring that innovative solutions reach real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced LLM-driven conversational AI systems, including personas and role-play scenarios
• Evaluate and compare LLM models like LLaMA 3, Qwen, and DeepSeek to determine suitability for turn-based and real-time communication
• Develop and optimize prompts, fine-tune models using frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, and ensure production scalability
• Collaborate on integrating cloud solutions, utilizing Azure OpenAI services and AWS Bedrock, to deploy low-latency, efficient solutions
• Implement Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text capabilities using APIs from providers like Azure, ElevenLabs, or similar
• Utilize knowledge of multimodal models, including voice-to-voice systems, to enhance conversational AI solutions
• Ship research-driven innovations into production systems by coding and iterating with Python
• Design and maintain communication pipelines leveraging REST APIs and WebSockets
• Work on safeguarding conversational systems, addressing challenges like quality assurance and cost management
• Monitor and incorporate the latest scientific publications to identify and apply state-of-the-art models for practical use
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of production experience working with LLMs, from implementation to optimization
• Solid Python programming skills, along with expertise in Hugging Face Transformers and one of the following libraries: LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Extensive knowledge of LLM functionality, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and comparative model analysis, including versions like LLaMA 3, Qwen, and Claude
• Hands-on understanding of the Azure OpenAI stack, including deployments, hubs, and AI Studio, as well as AWS Bedrock
• Proficiency in working with multimodal AI models and their applications, especially in voice-based systems
• Background in Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text models and APIs from providers like Azure or ElevenLabs
• Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets to ensure low-latency communication
• Fluency in Polish, the team's mandatory communication language

• Practical experience developing chatbots or voicebots on innovative technological stacks
• Exposure to training proprietary Transformer-based models and implementing them in production environments
• Capability to fine-tune LLMs using advanced AI libraries for specific, real-world applications
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like Langraph or Crew.Ai
• Interest in staying abreast of the latest trends in AI, model advancements, and applications through research and experimentation
