QA Lead (EMIRATI)

An established leader in innovation and digital transformation is seeking a QA Lead to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise-grade applications across web, mobile, and API platforms. This key role focuses on developing robust automation frameworks, overseeing functional and non-functional testing, and delivering high-quality solutions in an agile environment.

As a QA Lead, you will drive end-to-end testing initiatives, lead a small QA team, and collaborate with development, product, and business teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. You will play a pivotal role in defining testing strategies, coordinating client communication, and ensuring that applications meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build automation scripts from scratch and execute them across test cycles.
• Perform end-to-end testing of web, mobile (iOS/Android), and eCommerce applications.
• Conduct API testing and ensure backend functionalities are validated thoroughly.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, managing task distribution and performance.
• Execute smoke, sanity, and regression tests during release cycles.
• Analyze requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
• Manage client interactions and coordinate between offshore and onsite teams.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Send timely status reports (Daily/Weekly/Bi-weekly) to stakeholders.
• Identify risks early, communicate clearly with all stakeholders, and assist in mitigation.
• Provide knowledge transfer (KT) to new team members and support onboarding activities.
• Sign off on test cycles upon successful completion.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

5–8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a proven ability to lead QA initiatives in agile environments.

Technical Skills:

• Core Testing Tools: Selenium, Appium
• API Testing: REST API tools (e.g., Postman)
• Platforms: Web, Mobile (Android & iOS), eCommerce
• Testing Methodologies: Agile, Regression, UAT, Smoke/Sanity
