About the Role

For this role, we will be primarily using AngularJS and NodeJS for frontend development, although knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Databases will be helpful. Contribute to internal build tools and process automation across the organization where needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality products and features to solve business problems within the organization.
• Understand products and user requirements in its entirety and ensure that these are delivered in a timely manner.
• Able to scope efforts, identify risks and communicate trade-offs with project managers and users.
• Primarily use AngularJS and NodeJS for frontend development.
• Contribute to internal build tools and process automation across the organization where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

Required Skills

• 1 - 3 years of experience working with frontend development tools such as AngularJS, React JS or VueJS.
• Sharp eye for user experience.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, computer networks and software engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of backend development tools, such as Java Spring Boot, is an advantage.
• Good understanding of CRUD APIs and API development.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Chinese is an advantage for this role as we will frequently be working with users and developers based in China and Taiwan.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices.
• Passionate about problem solving and technology.
