IT Project Manager – (Ariba/Coupa)

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading organization undergoing a digital transformation of its procurement landscape. They are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the upgrade and modernization of their procurement systems.

About the Role:

This role will focus on replacing legacy procurement platforms with modern, cloud-based solutions such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools. You will work closely with procurement, IT, finance, and vendor stakeholders to deliver a seamless transformation that improves efficiency, integration, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of the procurement systems transformation project—from planning to go-live and support.
• Collaborate with internal business units and external vendors to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Oversee migration or upgrade from legacy systems to cloud-based procurement solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive system integration with other internal platforms (e.g., ERP, Finance).
• Champion change management and user adoption through communication and training initiatives.
• Ensure vendor accountability and performance throughout the project.

Key Requirements:

• Strong project management experience, especially in procurement system implementations or upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, or other major procurement platforms.
• Solid understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT or transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with cloud-based systems and enterprise integrations.
• Background in industries with complex procurement processes.
• Familiarity with legacy system decommissioning and data migration strategies.
