About Us

Senseye is a NeuroTechnology Company in Austin, TX on the cusp of revolutionizing Mental Health. Over the past 6 years we have invested millions of dollars in R&D to build our platform allowing us to measure cognitive activity via the eye through mobile phones. Through multiple iterations and use cases we are now focused on building the world's first Objective Mental Health Diagnostics on top of our core technology. Our first diagnostic is for PTSD and is entering clinical trials now, followed soon by additional indications for Anxiety and Depression. As the world struggles with a mental health crisis, it is not hyperbolic to suggest that an objective diagnostic platform, that gives clinicians a safe and objective accurate approach to identifying and monitoring mental health disease, will redefine how mental health services are provided and will enable access to treatment for hundreds of millions of sufferers. The Senseye platform has the potential to be the technology that drives this change.

Role Description

  • Work with our team to define, build, test, and deploy an innovative mobile app enabling our customers to interact with Senseye's cutting edge technology developed for iOS
  • Partner with our Product, Research and Machine Learning teams in defining, designing, and building a user-friendly experience that meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide expert technical leadership to define/refine the architecture, design, and coding of high-quality applications that excel in usability, scalability, performance, and security
  • Actively participate in our agile software development process to ensure timely and successful delivery of valued features to users
  • Use best practices to deliver high quality code
  • Understand and actively utilize unit, acceptance and integration tests to ensure full test coverage
  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones from draft to implementation
  • Understand and implement communication with backend services utilizing our REST API
  • Understand and implement video and audio capture from the device to enable our platform to provide timely and accurate data


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building consumer mobile applications: Have shipped iOS applications developed with Swift and SwiftUI
  • Demonstrate knowledge of how to capture and process video on iOS devices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how to properly architect mobile applications
  • Significant experience in the release of applications on the Apple App Store
  • Expert experience with developer tooling (XCode, Simulators, Swift 5+, SwiftUI etc.)
  • Extensive experience with REST API integration from the device
  • Extensive experience with security on the device and in off device communications
  • Able to build software with a focus on quality and testability
  • Familiarity with the agile development processes
  • Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoys a challenging project in a friendly environment
  • You have the ability and willingness to work with any language, building both mobile applications and simple back-end applications
  • Previous prototyping experience and knowledge in prototyping tools and data analytics are considered a plus
  • Experience developing Android applications is considered a plus
  • Experience developing Web applications and connecting to the users camera is considered a plus
  • Experience in Software as a Medical Device is considered a plus
  • Experience in AWS development and management is considered a plus
  • Experience in Cyber Security is considered a plus

The salary for this position is $166,000 - $203,000.
