What You’ll Do

As our Founding Product Designer, your fingerprints will shape the core product. This is not about following existing UX patterns but creating new ones that solve real-world challenges. If you thrive in ambiguity, have a strong point of view on product design, and can define a vision while executing fast, this is the opportunity to be a core part of something groundbreaking.

• Lead the end-to-end design process for Maximor’s core product, from concept to production.
• Work closely with the Founder, CPO and engineers to craft elegant UI that solves compound 0 to 1 problems
• Define the information architecture for a product that has no direct comparisons, requiring first-principles thinking and innovation.
• Prototype and iterate rapidly, testing ideas with design partners and customers in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or AI.
• Experience in early-stage or 0→1 product development, where there’s no playbook, and you have to define the path.
• Ability to work at a systems level, designing dashboards, information architecture, and workflows that solve real customer challenges.
• Strong opinions on design, coupled with the ability to challenge assumptions and think beyond existing patterns.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, the CPO and founders in an iterative, feedback-driven environment.
• A portfolio showcasing strong UX, product thinking, and an ability to solve complex problems through design.

Bonus Points

• Experience designing for AI-driven products, fintech, or payments platforms.
• Background in data visualization, dashboards, or information-heavy UX.
• Exposure to AI monetization, LLMs, or agent-based technologies.
• Familiarity with startups selling to other startups (where expectations for design are extremely high).
• Knowledge of AI tools like v0.dev or lovable.dev

What Success Looks Like

• Deeply understand the problem space, participate in customer conversations, and prototype initial flows.
• Create foundational UX/UI patterns, deliver early iterations of core product interfaces, and validate designs with customers.
• Own the design vision for the product, working closely with founders and engineers to launch an MVP with real-world usage.
