Role: Business Analyst (BA)

Location: Eastern Europe

Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst within our Product Engineering team; you will bridge business needs and technology solutions to advance our patient-centred Life Management Platform (LMP). Your analysis and insights will shape the development of scalable, secure patient engagement solutions that improve healthcare interactions and care coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business, product, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and workflow mapping sessions.
• Translate requirements into well-defined user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify system dependencies, technical constraints, and risks; work closely with development and DevOps teams to address them.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Conduct gap analyses to align proposed solutions with stakeholder expectations.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Validate functional deliverables to ensure compliance and business requirements are met.
• Collaborate with QA teams for test planning and perform solution validation during UAT.
• Ensure traceability of business requirements through the development lifecycle.

Desired Profile:

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare or life sciences technology projects.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline. Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRD), user stories, and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation.
• Skilled in solution validation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that delivered products meet business needs and requirements.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies with experience in user story creation and backlog management.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable to dynamic and evolving project environments.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to mobile app development environments, especially Flutter and Java-based backends.
• Experience with patient engagement platforms, digital health, or care pathway management.
• Knowledge of system integrations, IAM, or consent management systems.
• Certified in Project Management, Six Sigma, and Professional Financial Planner (PFP), demonstrating expertise in process improvement, project execution, and financial planning.
