Role: Business Analyst (BA)
Location: Eastern Europe
Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst within our Product Engineering team; you will bridge business needs and technology solutions to advance our patient-centred Life Management Platform (LMP). Your analysis and insights will shape the development of scalable, secure patient engagement solutions that improve healthcare interactions and care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business, product, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and workflow mapping sessions.
- Translate requirements into well-defined user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify system dependencies, technical constraints, and risks; work closely with development and DevOps teams to address them.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Conduct gap analyses to align proposed solutions with stakeholder expectations.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Validate functional deliverables to ensure compliance and business requirements are met.
- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning and perform solution validation during UAT.
- Ensure traceability of business requirements through the development lifecycle.
Desired Profile:
- 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare or life sciences technology projects.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline. Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRD), user stories, and functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation.
- Skilled in solution validation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that delivered products meet business needs and requirements.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies with experience in user story creation and backlog management.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable to dynamic and evolving project environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to mobile app development environments, especially Flutter and Java-based backends.
- Experience with patient engagement platforms, digital health, or care pathway management.
- Knowledge of system integrations, IAM, or consent management systems.
- Certified in Project Management, Six Sigma, and Professional Financial Planner (PFP), demonstrating expertise in process improvement, project execution, and financial planning.
