We are currently seeking a talented Security and Onboarding Officer to join our growing team. This is a permanent role that offers flexibility through hybrid working, with opportunities to collaborate in our London or Bristol office and remotely.
As a Security and Onboarding Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth onboarding and offboarding process for all staff, contractors, and associates. Reporting to the Security and Onboarding Business Partner, you will be an integral part of our Security and Onboarding Team, responsible for managing BPSS, security clearance applications and providing a welcoming environment for new starters.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proven track record in business administration, along with exceptional communication abilities to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
This role requires a willingness to undergo Security Clearance, which necessitates residency in the UK for the past 5 years. Candidates must be prepared to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard as part of the onboarding process. Specific details regarding the requirements of this process will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and initiate onboarding and security clearance processes for staff, contractors, and associates, including DBS, BPSS, and SC checks
- Administer offboarding procedures, including the creation of termination letters and managing the deactivation of security clearances
- Ensure compliance with GOVS007 security requirements and maintain effective tracking of clearances across various levels
- Act as a point of contact for onboarding and vetting queries and maintain strong working relationships with project and account managers
- Support internal and external audits.
- Prioritize workloads and respond promptly to urgent clearance issues, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work under pressure and within agreed delivery SLAs.
- Display strong attention to detail in all administrative duties
- Proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Experience of information security and vetting processes
- Experience in recruitment administration would be advantageous
