Cyber Security Analyst - 6 month FTC

Miryco are working with a leading insurance/asset manager advising in their search for an immediately available junior Cyber Security Analyst for a 6 month fixed-term project.

This role will suit a candidate with 1-2 years cyber security experience who is looking for additional experience within a elite, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Review and evaluate technology operations alerts to ensure appropriate responses are implemented.
• Manage and oversee vulnerability scanning activities.
• Monitor systems for policy compliance and assist with remediation efforts as needed.
• Coordinate and track penetration testing initiatives.
• Support the onboarding of new applications into the environment.
• Assist in the Investigation and response to security incidents and breaches.
• Assist in the administration of email and web gateway security.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to promote and enforce security best practices.
• Remain informed about the latest trends, threats, and advancements in cybersecurity technologies.

Desired Experience:

• 1-2 years cyber security experience
• A 2:1 degree in a computer/technology based degree
• Good stakeholder management skills.
