460degrees is a tech focused management consultancy providing strategy, management, and execution support to major public and private organisations in Australasia. We are looking for Mobile App Developer to join our team.

TITLE: Mobile App Developer with React Native

Duration: 6 month contract

Location: Melbourne, Hybrid

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing processes

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java) is advantageous
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Expo, Redux, or GraphQL
• Applications published on the App Store or Google Play
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
