Software Engineer

You’ll contribute to the development of advanced infrared systems used in next-generation night vision and thermal imaging products across diverse applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cross-platform software tools (Windows/Linux) using C++ and Python
• Build modern graphical user interfaces that make complex hardware easily accessible
• Implement camera communication protocols, calibration logic, and viewing/recording tools
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and hardware teams to ensure full system integration
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code with a focus on performance and usability
• Take projects from prototype through deployment and long-term support

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong skills in C++ and Python
• Experience with GUI development (e.g. Qt, GTK, wxWidgets, or similar)
• Familiarity with cross-platform software design (Windows & Linux)
• Background in hardware integration, image processing, or device interfacing is a plus
• Bonus: exposure to C#, or knowledge of imaging/camera systems
