To support this growth, Skechers is building a state-of-the-art, sustainable 200,000 m² distribution center in Liège. This new European logistics hub will be a strategic cornerstone for the future. As Project Director, you will play a crucial role in delivering this landmark project, working alongside international teams, cutting-edge technology, and ambitious timelines.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Manage large-scale automation, expansion, and integration projects within European distribution centers, with an initial focus on Liège.
  • Provide strong leadership and motivate cross-functional, international project teams.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Control project budgets and perform financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Coordinate between multiple disciplines including engineering, IT, operations, construction, automation, …
  • Act as the key escalation point across teams and ensure operational readiness through training, testing, start-up support, and optimization.


Who does the shoe fit?

  • Proven track record managing complex, global CAPEX projects in highly automated distribution and fulfilment centers (budget > $1MIO).
  • Experience with WMS, WES/WCS, and high-throughput automated systems.
  • Specialized in coordinating and integrating cross-functional teams (construction, automation, IT, operations).
  • Project management certification (PMP) is highly desired.
  • Strong in budget control and risk management while maintaining technical precision and strategic alignment.
