Shepherd CMMS is a 100% Native NetSuite (Oracle) solution for Maintenance Management and was proudly named Oracle SuiteCloud Developer Partner of the Year in 2021. We manage maintenance within a wide range of industries, including many of the world's largest water utilities, mining operations, power plants, boiler, and printing operations using our software. We are a global company but are now looking to expand our team in Estonia and hire our first Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, to take us to another level of QA testing. The role will be reporting to the Head of QA.
About the Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team in Tallinn. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new skills, adapt to our exciting company growth, and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a robust test automation framework from scratch, and enhance existing test infrastructure.
- Write, automate, and execute test cases based on web and mobile product requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and perform automated tests, analysing results and reporting on test outcomes.
- Develop and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites using appropriate automated testing tools.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate all testing activities within the development lifecycle.
- Identify, analyse, and solve complex, unstructured problems, and rebuild processes to improve efficiency.
- Meticulously report and track bugs found during regression and other test runs.
- Continuously improve and maintain the overall QA environment, including tools, techniques, processes, and documentation.
Required Qualification
- 5+ years of professional experience in test automation.
- Mandatory experience in automating web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other similar Object-Oriented programming languages.
- Solid experience in Automated Tests using Selenium and Appium.
- Experience with Cucumber framework in Selenium (or any other BDD framework) is a strong asset.
- Proven experience in testing and automating REST APIs.
- Experience in testing and automating native/hybrid mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Broad experience using different testing tools (e.g., Postman, Charles Proxy, Swagger).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, X-Ray, or similar).
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Strong understanding of the standard software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent English language skills (C1 or C2 level).
