We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Fullstack Engineer to join the Anaconda Navigator team, working on a high-impact project that aims to redefine how millions of users interact with Anaconda’s tools and services. Anaconda Navigator serves as a gateway to our unified platform, Anaconda Hub, and you’ll play a key role in rebuilding this essential application to create a seamless cross-platform experience. What You'll Do
- Feature Development: Design, build, and maintain front-end and back-end features for the Anaconda Navigator, ensuring smooth integration with Anaconda Hub and other products.
- User Interface & Experience: Collaborate with product managers and designers to create intuitive and productive user experiences for both new and advanced Anaconda users.
- Backend Services: Develop and maintain backend services to support Navigator’s functionality, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with team members to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions that enhance application performance and user engagement.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, implementing best practices to ensure code quality, security, and robustness.
- Testing and Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot issues, contribute to testing strategies, and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Technical Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a proven record of building desktop or web applications using Electron, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
- Front-End Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) for creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Experience with HTML and CSS is essential.
- Back-End Skills: Strong experience with Python and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
- Database Knowledge: Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling principles.
- Cross-Platform Development: Familiarity with Electron or similar frameworks for cross-platform desktop applications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues proactively, analyze root causes, and collaborate effectively to implement solutions.
- User-Focused Mindset: Passion for creating user-friendly applications and a willingness to iterate based on user feedback.
