Back End Developer

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with deep C# expertise to join a cross-functional DevOps team working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You’ll help build and maintain a high-performing API layer that serves both internal and external users, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

As a senior engineer, you will actively contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle—from early-stage technical design through to deployment, monitoring, and support. You'll work closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver well-architected, high-impact services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Develop and expose REST APIs to support customer-facing and internal applications
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security across the service lifecycle
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
• Collaborate with software architects to align on scalable and secure designs
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications in a cloud-based production environment
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Contribute to both development and operations in a DevOps culture
• Provide technical leadership during the early stages of complex projects

Technical Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core in production environments
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development best practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services, including:
• WebApps, Function Apps, API Management
• Application Gateway and networking fundamentals
• Experience with cloud-based monitoring and incident management tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Basic knowledge of XML and SOAP is a plus
• Practical experience working within Agile (Scrum) teams
