Accounting Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Officer who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic finance team. In this role, you'll assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, help maintain accurate financial records, and support key financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in the field of accounting.

This is a hybrid role based at our Ljubljana office.

Your Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Process invoices, payments, and other accounts payable/receivable tasks.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist in account reconciliations.
• Support monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial matters.
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ year of accounting or finance experience (internships count).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Fluent in English language.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage time and work under minimal supervision.
