ETH Zurich – Institute of Neuroinformatics invites applications for two fully-funded PhD positions in Computational Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Timothée Proix. The positions are scheduled to begin in September 2025, with flexibility in the start date.
The successful candidates will contribute to research focused on modeling neural computations involved in speech processing, utilizing dynamical systems and machine learning methodologies. The research will include the application of these models to single-cell intracranial recordings from human participants.
Requirements
– Academic background in physics, computer science, mathematics, biomedical engineering, cognitive science, or related fields
– Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of dynamical systems
– Previous experience in neuroscience is advantageous
