Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and models, with a specific emphasis on large language models incl. agents, fine-tuning, new transformers-based architectures.
- Stay updated and share advancement on the state of the art.
- Participate in local academic partnerships, and ideally develop and drive them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to (a) share expertise and advice, and (b) implement some of the advanced solutions developed to solve complex business challenges.
- More generally, contribute to the innovation and advancement of machine learning capabilities within the organization.
- While not mandatory, experience in insurance and/or financial services will be considered a valuable asset.
- A solid background as a researcher and/or data scientist, or a strong interest in technical excellence and machine learning innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and data science is mandatory. In-depth knowledge of natural language processing and in particular large language models is highly appreciated.
- Exposure to the LLM’s ecosystem and associated frameworks.
- Proficiency of Python, Jupyter Notebook and popular neural network frameworks (Tensorflow and/or PyTorch), along with a good understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience in training Machine Learning models on large data sets.
