About The Role
The Next Generation Production System (NGPS) is Business Assurance’s main software tool supporting all core processes including marketing, sales, fulfilment, and invoicing. The objectives of NGPS include improving customer experience, increasing process efficiency, and aligning internal processes. NGPS is also the foundation for innovative digital service delivery and generation of new revenue streams, which are both two key digital initiatives of Business Assurance.
The further improve the NGPS development and deployment, the NGPS program needs to be strengthened with a Business Analyst for Business Intelligence and data management.
Business Intelligence solution as a part of NGPS combines the data coming from various Oracle and custom-built apps and provides a unified and holistic view of the data, critical for both top management as well as day to day operational jobs for all users, providing deep insights into the business performance.
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for working closely with the users, understanding their information needs, identifying opportunities for improvements, recognizing potential issues and offering technical solutions that improve efficiency and increase productivity and engagement of the users.
The role is a full-time position for 18 months and located in Europe (Oslo / Milan / Barcelona / Poland). The role will be reporting into the Product Owner for BI & Data Management stream under NGPS program.

Your daily tasks will cover following areas: :
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Users: Gather high-level requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Develop Data Solutions: Create data models, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI based on gathered requirements.
- Specify Change Requests: Draft clear and detailed specifications for ETL and live data model changes to ensure development teams understand them.
- Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the development and modification of data models and backend ETL processes.
- Motivate Development Teams: Inspire and drive teams to deliver innovative solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key stakeholders in Business Assurance to ensure successful BI solution implementation.
- Support Ticket Management: Review and resolve user-raised support tickets promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify and communicate risks or impediments to the Product Owner.
- Clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria for implementation by development team.
- Accurate and user-friendly reporting solutions on Power BI or other services.
- Effective agile development processes (Scrum and Agile Hybrid) and cross functional communication
- Efficient and Effective business process improvement and promotion of continuous improvement

About You
To be successful in the role You should have:
- minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Data Analysis
- 2 to 3 years of experience working with complex data landscapes developing data models and reporting solutions.
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data modelling principles.
- Hands on experience working with reporting solutions like Power BI with knowledge on DAX and Power Query.
- Fluent in using Microsoft Excel and Power platform services.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken
- Knowledge of Oracle based suites are of advantage
- Ability to effectively communicate with system integrators and software developers
- Good understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
- Strong problem solving, project management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a very structured, accurate and responsible manner and to work collaboratively within diversified project teams
- Ability to deliver within time and budget constraints
- Service oriented mentality and a high sense of ownership of the issues and requests assigned
