We are looking for a Product Manager to assist in the planning, execution and delivery of our search products for agents and consumers. The team is focused on building experiences that help agents quickly and easily find the most relevant listings for their buyers, comparable listings for their sellers, and track the market to keep up with market trends.


You should be organized and thrive while managing several initiatives. You have a passion for transforming complex customer and business data into exceptional product experiences. You spend time understanding the detail and nuance in a challenge and turn it into simple, yet impactful user experiences. You are able to communicate in a clear and concise manner and are comfortable interacting with your partners in design, engineering, research, executives and other stakeholder groups. You communicate project status, findings, and escalate as needed on a regular basis.



What you will do:



  • Drive the product development lifecycle for search features. Manage ideation, user research, design, development and launch plans for the search improvements across our web and native apps experiences
  • Deliver the next wave of search querying and filtering features for our nationwide agent customer base
  • Spearhead planning exercises that support quarterly and annual planning initiatives within the Search product domain
  • Define solutions to customer problems and solve operational challenges, to improve agent satisfaction and adoption
  • Leverage our suite of data platforms to derive insights and guide prioritization
  • Work in close collaboration with product, engineering, design, research and marketing partners to develop rich, intuitive, and valuable user experiences
  • Interview agents, sales managers, regional leads, and other stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize the nationwide and region-specific problems they face when searching for listings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to the cross-platform search experience
  • Prepare and present periodic progress updates to leadership and agents




What we look for:



  • Fluent English
  • +3-5 years experience in progressive product management roles end to end, building and launching successful products and features, preferably with a search and data/discoverability focus
  • Experience / knowledge in enterprise search or data products with large consumer datasets (e.g. eCommerce, data/analytics/reporting, finance/insurance, etc)
  • Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from disparate sources, going beyond user requests to get to key needs, and the ability to rationalize across and resolve stakeholder differences
  • Ability to compile, interrogate, and synthesize cleansed, yet highly nuanced data sets to support prioritization, solutions, and validation
  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization
  • Comfort collaborating with internal UX / Engineering teams and other stakeholders in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Strong technical and data background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience
  • Real estate industry (desirable)/ Technology experience
  • B2C and/or Marketplace and/or Search / Data product experience
  • Business analytics and/or Product analytics and/or Database querying (e.g. SQL databases, notebooks) and/or Advanced spreadsheet
  • Experience working in insights platforms (e.g. Tableau, Heap, Google Analytics)
  • Familiar with search platforms (e.g. Algolia, Solr, Elasticsearch, Lucene, Swifttype)
