LOCATION: Toronto/GTA

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is critical in leading and managing high-impact client engagements while supporting the strategic execution of MCA’s internal initiatives. You will serve as the key point of contact for clients, driving deliverables across token strategy, go-to-market plans, ecosystem growth, and Web3 advisory services.

The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic and analytical mindset, excellent client-facing communication skills, and deep familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem. You’ll be expected to lead multiple client projects simultaneously, manage internal work-streams, and collaborate cross-functionally with research, operations, and marketing teams.

This is not a typical 9–5 corporate role, MCA is one of the fastest growing consulting firms in the Web3 space - we move fast, think big, and aim to make an impact.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the lead on client engagements, managing the full lifecycle from onboarding to execution and reporting, ensuring deliverables are met on time and aligned with client goals.
  • Engage directly with clients (executives & founders) to deeply understand their mission, business objectives, pain points, and growth opportunities in the Web3 and emerging tech landscape.
  • Develop and implement high-impact strategies for token launch or growth, product launches, go-to-market execution, ecosystem development, and product-market fit.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders and project leads, offering strategic counsel throughout product, protocol, or ecosystem lifecycles.
  • Synthesize research on market trends, competitive landscapes, user behavior, and protocol mechanics into actionable client strategies and executive presentations.
  • Lead client calls and workshops, distilling complex insights into clear next steps and guiding long-term roadmap planning.
  • Assess scalability, technical feasibility, and go-to-market readiness for clients building in blockchain, DePIN, gaming, infrastructure, and other Web3 verticals.
  • Draft and refine narratives for clients that support brand positioning, community engagement, and capital raise initiatives.
  • Represent MCA and client interests at Web3 conferences, AMAs, and strategic networking events as needed.
  • Build strong industry relationships to help identify early-stage trends, alpha opportunities, and potential partners or collaborators.
  • Stay up to date with developments across L1s, L2s, AI x Crypto, DeFi, infrastructure, and other Web3 sub-sectors, proactively bringing insights to both the MCA team and clients.
  • Coordinate cross-functional MCA team efforts cross Marketing, Business Development/Partnerships, Strategy, and Product Launches to ensure cohesive execution on client engagements. Provide strategic direction, track deliverables and act as the main bridge between client needs and internal team output.
  • Support MCA leadership on strategic planning, internal reporting, and ad-hoc special projects that drive firm-wide growth and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, focus on Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field of study ideal.
  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, venture, or high-growth startups, ideally with exposure to Web3, fintech, or emerging technologies. Experience working in the Big 4-5 accounting firms or previous consulting firms will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, delivering strategic recommendations, and leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution.
  • Deep understanding of the Web3 ecosystem including L1s/L2s, DeFi, AI x Crypto, DePin, RWAs and tokenized economies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex information and deliver high-quality recommendations under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey technical or complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
