About The Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Business Analytics Lead. The Business Analytics Lead will oversee data analysis, reporting, and visualisation efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and influence decision-making.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team to effectively achieve outcomes, and build a high-performing and motivated team
  • Design, oversee and evaluate critical business metrics to drive business improvements through actionable insights
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and promote a data-driven working culture
  • Build data-driven solutions to address business challenges, leveraging multidisciplinary problem-solving approaches
  • Drive the creation, maintenance and optimisation of reporting tools and dashboards, and use complex data analysis techniques to identify trends, provide insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to stakeholders
  • Communicate insights effectively by translating complex data analysis into clear and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate their data needs into actionable analytics projects

Requirements

  • Degree in STEM-related disciplines (e.g., Computer Science, Analytics, IT, Engineering) is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics in tech/e-commerce or dynamic environment is preferred
  • Strong technical skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience in managing a team of 3-5 members, including assigning them tasks, managing timelines, quality of output and their performance
  • Passionate about data and solving challenging business problems
  • Proficiency in VBA/Spark is a plus
