Mobile Android Engineer - X

The Mobile Android Engineer will join a small, high-impact team dedicated to creating a transformative mobile experience on X. Responsibilities include crafting delightful, intuitive user experiences, obsessing over every pixel, animation, and interaction, building blazing-fast, highly performant systems, and driving technical and product decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an expert in Kotlin with deep knowledge of Jetpack Compose and the Android View system, proficient in performance optimization, skilled in concurrency and reactive programming, and experienced in designing and shipping intuitive mobile UIs. Additional desired skills include deep expertise in the Android ecosystem and a proven track record of shipping standout apps or features. The role is based in Palo Alto, with candidates expected to be located near the Bay Area or open to relocation.
