Mobile Engineer, iOS

The role is for a Mobile iOS Engineer with 8+ years of experience passionate about creating amazing user experiences. Responsibilities include developing intuitive and enjoyable features, scaling shared services, and collaborating with teams across Product, Identity, Security, System Design, and Infrastructure. The engineer will work on architecting, building, testing, and refining Gusto’s native Android app and supporting mobile web views, developing product features integrating core business functions, collaborating cross-functionally to solve technical and customer pain points, building and scaling essential services like push notifications and localization, and maintaining mobile infrastructure including build pipelines and release processes. Requirements include a minimum of 6 years in Swift and iOS software engineering, 8 years in mobile software engineering overall, excellent communication skills, self-driven mindset, proficiency in iOS testing frameworks, experience in platform components development, strong critical thinking, and passion for mentoring. Bonus points for experience with SwiftUI, GraphQL, MVVM architecture, analytics tools, and mobile infrastructure.
