The Physical Security Analyst position will be a member of the Global Security team within Lucid Motors. In this role, the SOC analyst will support a 24x7x365 operation for the Global Security team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring alerts for potential threats and security irregularities, analyzing content of those alerts and providing a written analysis for each. The analyst will work closely with Sr. SOC Supervisor and SOC Operators who will serve as an escalation point. Duties include Security Monitoring, Analysis, Investigations and Response. This role will report directly to the Regional Security Manager, North America Operations. Responsibilities include using multiple open-source intelligence sites to monitor global events and identify whether action is needed to protect Lucid assets; utilizing crisis communication processes to inform/respond to events impacting Lucid employees and assets; conducting research, assessment, and analysis to produce in-depth reports to support operational needs and mitigate threats; peer reviewing work products; constructing routine security briefs/reports; identifying and reporting on existing and emerging security threats; monitoring incidents of civil unrest, natural hazards, geopolitics, and crime; generating professional reports; maintaining awareness of international climate affecting employees; being the analytical focal point for security intelligence gathering; innovating new products and reports to address vulnerabilities and streamline processes; supporting the Global Security Operations Center and team; and displaying exceptional customer service and communication skills. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, ability to work in a learning environment, effective oral and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, acute attention to detail, problem solving, research and investigative skills, teamwork encouragement, and crisis handling. Experience with open-source intelligence including social media and messaging platforms is desired, as is formal training in OSINT techniques and data analysis.
