Damia Group Ltd is a leading technology recruitment consultancy, working with major public sector and private sector clients. We are currently supporting a global IT consultancy in sourcing a skilled Fullstack Developer to support a high-impact central government project.

About The Role

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer with active SC clearance to join a fast-paced digital transformation programme within a UK government department. You will be responsible for developing robust, scalable applications, both on the front and back end, while working in a secure, cloud-native environment.

This is a fully remote, outside IR35 contract role offering a competitive daily rate.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain fullstack web applications
• Build scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js (preferably Hapi or Express.js)
• Work with PostgreSQL databases
• Develop front-end interfaces using SASS, vanilla JavaScript, and GDS design patterns
• Deploy and manage services using AWS infrastructure (e.g. CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, SES, SQS)
• Integrate with API Gateways and Lambda functions
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong fullstack development experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Hapi or Express.js web frameworks
• Frontend development using SASS, JavaScript, and ideally GDS frontend toolkit
• Solid cloud experience with AWS services (CloudFront, Beanstalk, RDS, S3, etc.)
• Experience with secure, enterprise-level systems
• Must hold active SC (Security Check) clearance

• Duration: 3 months (potential for extension)
• Rate: £450–£550/day (Outside IR35)
• Location: Remote (UK-based only)
• Start: ASAP / within 2 weeks
