Role Summary:

We're seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer to join our team, whether as an employee or a freelancer. First and foremost, we’re looking for someone with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, driven by a passion for continuous learning. If you're excited not only to keep systems running smoothly after deployment, but also to take pride in optimizing and improving them, this role could be perfect for you.

Strong analytical thinking and customer-focused skills are essential in this role, as your expertise will help clients reach their goals. You're driven by data and believe there’s no such thing as too many metrics or automation. To ensure operational reliability, we operate with an on-call rotation in which everyone participates.

Are you the perfect fit for this position?

• Knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, Nodejs, Java
• Ability to write infrastructure code in CloudFormation or Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and ability to set one up
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Docker
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
• Knows git and uses it for everything

Additional skills that will set you apart:

• Ability to work with Docker Orchestration Tool (Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift)
• Familiarity with monitoring/alerting systems (Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog)
• Basic knowledge of networking principles like load balancing, CIDR blocks…
• Already worked with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knows how test classes work and knows the basics of code testing
• Knows how a database (SQL-NOSQL) works and knows how to connect with it
• Experience setting up a high-availability applications
• Basic knowledge of rest API's and Microservices
