Product Manager – Trade

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Trade Product Manager to join a well-established business with a strong footprint across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through to end-of-life and work closely with internal teams and suppliers to deliver high-performing products into the market.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle, including NPD, range rationalisation and end-of-life decisions.
- Define range architecture, manage pricing and lead range reviews.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business goals.
- Engage with customers and the market to uncover insights and identify new opportunities.
- Manage product compliance, Australian standards and undertake patent research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Training teams to deliver successful launches and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor product performance and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a product management role, ideally with trade or industrial products.
- Solid understanding of the Australian/NZ trade and wholesale landscape.
- Demonstrated success in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Strong technical literacy – confident interpreting technical specs and documentation.
- Commercially astute with solid analytical skills / Excel proficiency is essential.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with genuine ownership of outcomes.
- Experience in tools, hardware or tiling products will be highly regarded.
