Internet of Things Engineer

A global leader in enterprise IoT solutions is expanding its Sydney footprint and looking for an experienced IoT Engineer to join the team. You’ll play a key role in delivering large-scale, smart connectivity projects across sectors like utilities, agriculture, and smart cities, all powered by LoRaWAN™, NB-IoT, and cutting-edge sensor technology.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and support IoT networks and smart device solutions
• Perform RF coverage assessments and provide ongoing technical support
• Collaborate with teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements
• Work across device, network, and platform levels to troubleshoot and enhance systems

What You Bring:

• Strong technical knowledge of LoRaWAN (Actility experience a plus)
• Solid understanding of IoT technologies, including NB-IoT, Sigfox, and other proprietary protocols
• Familiarity with sensors/devices used in IoT use cases
• Hands-on coding skills with JavaScript, Node.js, Python, and embedded systems (highly desirable)
• Understanding of big data concepts and machine learning algorithms
• Firm grasp of IoT architecture, device/data security, and end-to-end system flows
• Experience across front-end and back-end systems
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
• A true customer-first mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems
