We are seeking a skilled AI Specialist to help lead the Future of Innovation at Cater Care Australia.

We’re on the lookout for a highly motivated, technically proficient, and visionary AI Specialist to help us design, develop, and lead our AI function from the ground up.


About the Role

This is a pivotal new role in our organisation. You will work closely with our IT and Leadsership teams to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of AI strategy and capabilities across the business
  • Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that drive efficiencies, improve insights, and enhance decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases across various business functions
  • Build the framework, tools and processes to support scalable, ethical, and secure AI implementation
  • Guide the integration of AI solutions with our existing systems and data architecture, in partnership with IT


About You

You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or applied AI roles (5+ years preferred)
  • A proven track record of end-to-end delivery of AI projects in a commercial environment
  • Hands-on skills in Python, machine learning frameworks, NLP, and cloud AI services
  • Deep understanding of data strategy, model deployment, and governance
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative, proactive and solution-focused mindset
