We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure.

This role involves a mix of development and operational responsibilities, ensuring smooth workflows and system optimization. If you enjoy tackling technical challenges and collaborating with a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities


  • Focus on development tasks (70%) and operational responsibilities (30%) to meet infrastructure and application needs
  • Migrate internal Docker images and dependencies from Google Container Registry (GCR) to Artifact Registry
  • Upgrade Docker images and manage application dependencies to maintain security and compatibility
  • Address vulnerabilities in Python-based applications to enhance system security
  • Audit and adjust privileges and cloud configurations using tools like Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Support the migration of infrastructure from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to AWS and assist in disaster recovery exercises
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure system stability and reliability
  • Maintain and optimize systems to support scalability and performance requirements


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps role within production environments
  • Proven experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and other AWS services
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for managing and deploying containerized applications
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
  • Knowledge of authentication concepts and the ability to implement or troubleshoot solutions (e.g., OnePass to Azure B2C CIAM migration)
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher


Nice to have


  • Experience with frameworks and tools like CloudFormation, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Elasticsearch, and SOC2 compliance
  • Understanding of backup and restoration processes for PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field as an added advantage
