We're Hiring: Junior Data QA Analyst (Entry-Level | Python, GCP, AI)

Project: AI-powered CRE Lead & Marketing Automation | Distressed Property Lead Marketplace | Strategic AI Real Estate SaaS

Type: Remote | Freelance/Contract

Start Date: Month 2 (following the onboarding of our Founding Data Engineer)

Team: You’ll work closely with our Data Engineer and Product Lead to ensure the quality and reliability of our data foundation.

About The Role

Are you passionate about working with data, uncovering insights, and ensuring high data quality in AI-powered systems? This is your opportunity to join a high-impact Real Estate Tech startup at an early stage and grow your data career while working alongside experienced engineers and product leaders.

We’re building an AI-first SaaS platform to transform how real estate teams discover, qualify, and engage with distressed property leads. As our Junior Data QA Analyst, you'll play a vital role in validating, visualizing, and making sense of the data that fuels our core product.

What You’ll Be Doing

Data Validation & QA: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by reviewing data pipelines, spot-checking inputs/outputs, and documenting issues or inconsistencies.

Business-Focused Analysis: Support the team by analyzing real estate and lead data to extract actionable insights aligned with product and marketing goals.

Visual Reporting: Build clear, insightful dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, or Looker Studio to communicate findings with stakeholders.

Support AI Model Evaluation: Collaborate with the engineering team to test and validate outputs from AI models (e.g., lead scoring, enrichment).

Collaborate Closely: Partner with the Data Engineer to learn about the data architecture, pipeline behavior, and how to proactively catch errors before they impact production.

Process Documentation: Assist in documenting QA processes, data dictionaries, and data testing protocols to support scalable and repeatable quality assurance.

Minimum Requirements

• Entry-level or up to 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or QA roles.
• Familiarity with Python for basic data handling or scripting tasks.
• Basic knowledge of GCP or other cloud environments is a plus (BigQuery, Data Studio, etc.).
• Solid skills in SQL, data manipulation, and spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience creating dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for learning how data powers smart products.
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.

• Interest or exposure to AI/ML concepts (e.g., classification, clustering, enrichment).
• Familiarity with data testing frameworks or QA methodologies.
• Experience in real estate, marketing analytics, or working with lead data.
