Dynatrace OneAgent enables customer applications to run faster, reliably, and securely. The OneAgent software is actively deployed across millions of customer environments today, monitoring critical customer applications in various programming languages and platforms.

The “Core” team is at the heart of the OneAgent technology stack. This team specializes in developing robust, cross-platform, high performant C++ libraries and implementing the low-level mechanisms that enable automatic instrumentation of supported technologies. Their work spans a wide array of domains, combining deep systems expertise with a strong focus on precision, performance, and thoughtful software design and architecture.

  • Work in coordination with other developers, product management and software architects as a team member of an agile development team.

  • Spearhead solving the most challenging low-level problems and improve scalability, reliability and performance everywhere you go.
  • Team player and pro-active person of action.
  • Profound and professional C/C++ experience.
  • Platform and low-level system knowledge for Linux and Windows – experience on Solaris and/or AIX is also beneficial.
  • Experience with tools like debuggers, profilers, and system call tracers.
  • Understanding of and interest in Software Architecture and Design.
  • Willingness to learn on the job and eager to learn innovative technologies.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies (containers, containerized environments, ...) as well as build pipelines (Jenkins) is beneficial.
  • The ability to focus on details but keep the mind open for the whole ecosystem.
  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €58,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
