Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Software Design Engineer at Netcontrol Group in Helsinki. As a Software Design Engineer, you will be responsible for tasks such as software design, development and testing, and working with embedded software for our Netcon 100, 200 and 500 Remote Terminal Unit products.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the C programming language
• Experience in a Linux-based operating system kernel and distribution
• Experience in embedded programming and hardware oriented programming
• Network communication and firewalls
• Python and Bash scripting ability
• Experience of version management, for example SVN
• Written and spoken English. Finnish is an advantage

It's a great plus if you also have knowledge/experience of:

• Cybersecurity principles for embedded systems
• C++
